The Best Horror movie masks

 

Tomorrows Halloween...........FINALLY :)

I have decided to talk about one of my favorite things horror movie masks!

I think that's one of the main reasons I have always love horror movies the variety of masks are amazing.

I had a hard time deciding whether or not I should use all masks or just masks that were actual masks in the movie ( not sure how to really explain ) like IT its mask we know that but in the movie its not supposed to be a mask its just part of him..so I decided to just make this about masked killers.

This isn't in any order.

 

1.Curtains 1983

 2. Dark Night of the Scarecrow 1981-Its pretty good for a made for tv movie and the mask..its good

 3. Valentine  2001-Not really the best movie in the world but its not bad either I really like the mask

4. The Shining -This is probably one of the most memorable scenes one of the many
its weird and its a bit awkward ...I love it

 5. Motel Hell -This is perhaps one of the best horror movies its got its funny moments and its got an amazing mask.

 6. Halloween ( this is my favorite mask )  This mask is scary its white William Shatner face and soul less eyes staring at you in the dark waiting watching before he attacks.

 7.Terror train-Nothing like a Groucho Marx killer on a train

 8, Alice Sweet Alice- I honestly wasn't a huge fan of this movie but I do like the mask

 9. The House on Sorority Row- I love this costume and how the killer just sort of blends in with his toys.

 10.-Terror Train- I know again but can I help it if the killer keeps changing into really cool masks

11. Friday the 13th series - The mask is simple yet interesting

12. Friday the 13th part 2- I actually like this mask a bit more than the hockey mask it reminds me of a Baldknobber for those of you who aren't from the Ozarks you probably have no idea what im talking about so heres a wiki http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bald_Knobbers

 13. The Strangers- This movie was actually pretty scary the idea of a group of people breaking into your house and they are all wearing masks and terrorizing you is a complete nightmare.

 14. The Wicker Man -The masks are amazing

 I really love the cat masks they are beautiful and only just a little creepy

 15. Goosebumps the Haunted Mask

 16- Texas Chainsaw Massacre ( Original) Leatherfaces most unhygienic mask

 17.Tourist Trap

 18. Clownhouse-Clowns can be pretty scary ....

 19. Trick R Treat- This guy is cute but very devilish

 20. My Bloody Valentine- The idea of being trapped inside of mine with a crazy miner who hates valentines and is angry because you are celebrating it............ahhhhh! I love the costume its unique

 

21. NoseyBonk- Ok I know he isn't a horror movie but he is FING scary ...

22. Slaughter High- Jesters hat with old man face  very effective

Terror Train

Terror Train is a 1980 slasher film starring Jamie Lee Curtis
I think the really neat thing about Terror Train is the setting its a costume party on a train I cant think of another movie I have seen that in its just a really great idea!


At the start of the film they are having a New years eve party and Alana ( Jamie Lee Curtis ) is talked into playing a prank on Kenny Hampstead a shy and very awkward pledge ..he comes into the room thinking he is going to get laid ( which is part of the pledge ) some of the frat boys who are pre med have placed a dead womans corpse in the bed..Kenny is traumatized and is sent to a mental hospital.

Now its three years later and the same members of the fraternity and Sorority are having a costume party on a train..The class clown dressed as Groucho Marx is killed before getting on the train and the killer takes his costume and blends in.
Next he kills Jackson who is dressed like some sort of Dinosaur alien thing and takes his costume and then after that Docs girlfriend Mitchy finds him and thinks he is Jackson and leads him to the bed where she is then killed and he takes her witches costume.
As the party continues more students ( mostly the ones responsible for the prank ) are killed and no one seems to notice.
The killer assumes the costumed identity of each victim.
Carne ( the Train conductor )  discovers some bodies and moves the students in one car as the train begins its return journey. Alana recalls the prank, and, remembering that Kenny loved magic, suspects the magician ( David Copperfield ) is the killer. However the magician has disappeared, and is eventually found impaled inside his sword box.
Alana is moved into a locked compartment for her safety, but the killer is still aboard, stalking her. The killer enters the compartment but Alana escapes, and is pursued by the killer through the train. The killer is revealed as Kenny, who was disguised as the magician's female assistant. Kenny refuses Alana's apology and forces her to kiss him, but the kiss causes Kenny to relive his memories of the prank, driving him deeper into insanity. Carne rushes to the scene and beats down Kenny with a firemans' shovel, causing him to fall out the open door of the baggage car to his presumable death. His body lands in the nearly frozen river and floats away as the train roars off.

Sleepaway camp

Sleepaway Camp is a 1983 Slasher

It is in my opinion the best camp slasher movie ever! I love it more than I love Friday the 13th and The Burning ect ect ect!



The film starts out in the summer time at the lake with Angela and her brother Peter and her dad on there boat
The kids play a trick on there dad by pushing him into the lake and then there boats tips

A group of kids from the summer camp across the lake are water skiing and not paying attention and ram into them and kill the dad and peter.


Eight years later Angela is living with her crazy aunt Dr Martha Thomas and her cousin Ricky
Angela and Ricky go to summer camp Camp Arawak.
Almost immediately Angela gets bullied by her roommate Judy and camp counselor Meg.
The head cook Artie is a pedophile and has set his sights on Angela and attempts to molest her in the kitchen until Ricky saves her. Awhile later Artie is boiling corn and gets pushed in the boiler and is pretty much boiled alive-im sure he lives to be a horribly disfigured creature though
its determined to be an accident and camp life goes on for normal sort of for awhile.

Later a few days probably campers Kenny and Mike start teasing Angela because she wont talk they call her a nutcase and then Ricky intervenes and gets to a fist fight with them the fight gets broken up Ricky gets sent to bed ( I guess )
Rickys friend Paul stays behind to talk to Angela and right before he leaves to go back to his room she says goodnight which makes him pretty happy.

Later Kenny invites one of the girls to go on a moonlight canoe ride but its just a trick so he can tip the canoe over with her in it..he does and then she swims off ( way to go Kenny ) Kenny then decides its a good idea to crawl under the canoe and play submarine and sing songs a few seconds later someone swims under and holds him under...the next day his body is found and ruled and accident.

Later a group of campers throw water balloons at Angela and make her cry poor Angela one of them Billy goes to the bathroom to take a wicked shit ( his words ) when someone locks him in the bathroom and then drops a beehive in "Hey cant I guy take a dump in peace?!?!" leaving him to get stung to death.


Paul kisses Angela which upsets her and causes a flashback to her and Peter watching their dad and his lover Lenny in bed together..
Paul being a typical young guy doesn't understand so when Judy is all over him he goes for it and they start kissing which Angela sees and gets upset.
Later at swimming time Paul tries to explain himself to Angela and Meg and Judi show up and decide its a good idea to throw Angela in the water ( Angela is afraid of water ) the toss her in
Ricky tries to go save her but Mel who has decided that he is the killer holds him back and starts accusing him of things.
Hal the lifeguard gaves Angela and a group of small mean children throw sand at her.

Meg the head bitch prepares for her date with Mel ( the old guy in charge of the camp ) she is in the shower and she gets stabbed in the back with a butchers knife HOORAY!
Nobody really notices that Meg is missing and a social is held..the 6 children who threw sand at Angela are taken camping by camp counselor Eddie and Angela tells Paul to meet her after the social at the waterfront.
2 of the 6 children wake up and start whining and saying they are cold and want to go back to camp so Eddie takes them back when he comes back the others have been hacked up into pieces
Soon after that Judy who is playing hooky from the Social gets rape to death with a burning hot straightening iron. The Camp then goes into a panic when Eddie tells them what happened to those other kids.
Mel who has just discovered Megs corpse vows revenge on Ricky ( god he hates him ) and he attacks him and tries to kill him thinking that he has killed him he runs off where he is shot in the throat with an arrow by the killer.

As the counselors and the police scour the camp, they discover Ricky, unconscious but alive, and Angela meets Paul on the beach, suggesting they go for a swim. Ronnie and Susie find a naked Angela humming to herself and clutching both a large knife and Paul's severed head in her hands



WARNING THE REST OF THIS IS A HUGE FING SPOILER

They are shocked to discover that "Angela" is actually Peter, her thought-to-be-dead brother. It is revealed that the real Angela died in the accident and Peter survived. After Martha gained custody of him, she decided to raise Peter as the girl she always wanted, already having a son and coming to the conclusion that another boy "simply would not do." It's also implied that Peter/Angela was mentally affected by seeing his father sharing a homosexual embrace with another man. The film suddenly ends with the nude and blood-covered "Angela", male genitalia in full view, standing before Susie and Ronnie, letting out an animalistic hissing sound.
